Ball Valve

Our ball valve is a type of quarter-turn valve that uses a ball-shaped disc to control the flow of fluid through it. The ball has a hole or port in the middle, which when aligned with the inlet and outlet ports of the valve, allows fluid to flow through. Rotating the ball by 90 degrees using a lever or handle closes off the flow, making it an excellent on/off control valve. Ball valves are durable, reliable, and have a low-pressure drop compared to other types of valves. They are commonly used in industrial applications such as oil and gas, water treatment, and chemical processing, as well as in residential and commercial plumbing systems.

• TOP FLANGE :- ISO 5211 direct Mounting Flanges for Actuator & Gear Operators.
• Adjustable Packing Gland:- Packing Gland bolts are easily accessible to adjust packing with the actuator in place.
• Valve Design :- Design generally conforms to ASME B16.34-2004 / API 6D / BS EN ISO 17292 (BS 5351), Class 150 & 300, DIN EN 12516.
• End to End Dimensions:- Valve End to End Dimensions as per ASME B 16.10 / API 6D
• Valve Body:- Flanged, Two - Piece design in Cast Construction. Flanged are raised face & serrated & diamentions conformed to ASME B 16.5 – 2003, Class 150 / 300. Jacketing Options of body avcailable for heating or cooling of media. Carbon Steel Valve Bodies are finished with two-coat Zink rich epoxy paint in Blue Colour.
• Ball :-Floating design, Stainless Steel Ball with superior finish & sphericity ensures extended seat life and low operating torques. The combination of the balanced seat design and ball ensures consistent & dependable leak tightness.
• Stem :- Stem in Stainless Steel, Heavy-Duty Construction with Double “D” ( Sizes up to 6″ ) and Round with Keyed ( Sizes 8″ and above) Configurations for
• Positive Engagement with all types of Valve Operators.
• Seat :- Seat is Contoured to ensure that all stresses due to the line pressure are counterbalanced & that the extrusion of the seat into the body cavity due to
• sealing forces is eliminated. Seat Design is Fire -Safe as per API 607 / BS EN ISO 10497
• Stem Sealing :- Double “V” Stem Packing in Graphite is live loaded with the gland Assembly to ensure positive & trouble free sealing. Online tightening of Gland Assembly can be done. Viton “O” Ring provides sealing against fugitive emissions.
• Antistatic Devices :- Antistatic Devices at the Ball-Stem Interface and Body-Stem Interface.
• Fire Safe Testing :- Ball Valves have been designed to meet the requirments of API 607 – ISO 104975 / API 6 FA / BS EN 12266-2. Fire Safe Tests have been Witnessed and Certified by DNV.
